Zelensky Has Fled Kiev for Lvov, Russian State Duma Speaker Says
Russian State Duma speaker Vyacheslav Volodin said Saturday that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had left Kiev for Lvov; he added that Zelensky had already departed the Ukrainian capital as of yesterday.
"Zelensky hastily left Kiev. He was not in the capital of Ukraine yesterday. Together with his entourage, he fled to the city of Lvov, where he and his assistants were equipped with a place to live," Volodin wrote in his Telegram channel.

US government officials are prepared to assist Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s evacuation from Kiev and have been discussing safe places where he could represent the Ukrainian government in exile, the Washington Post reported on Friday.
According to the newspaper, which cited a “senior U.S. official,” US government representatives “in recent days have spoken to Zelensky about a variety of security issues, including the safest places for the president to situate himself to ensure continuity of the Ukrainian government.”
Zelensky accepts Putin’s proposal, ready for peace talks
KIEV, February 26. /TASS/. Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has accepted Russian President Vladimir Putin’s proposal and is ready to negotiate peace and a ceasefire, Zelensky’s press secretary Sergey Nikiforov said on Saturday.
"I have to refute allegations that we have refused to have talks. Ukraine has always been and is ready to negotiate peace and a ceasefire. It is our permanent position. We have accepted the Russian president’s proposal," he wrote on his Facebook account.

MOSCOW, February 26. /TASS/. Russian Armed Forces carried out a precision cruise missile strike via air-and naval-based cruise missiles on Ukrainian military infrastructure objects, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov announced Saturday.
"During the night, Russian Armed Forces carried out a long-range precision strike via naval-and air-based cruise missiles on Ukrainian military infrastructure objects," Konashenkov said.

Russia has shut down its airspace for passenger airlines owned by companies in Poland, the Czech Republic, and Bulgaria, or registered in those countries, on Saturday after the three banned Russian flights over their territory, citing the conflict in Ukraine.
The ban takes effect from 3pm Moscow time, Russia’s state aviation agency said, citing “unfriendly decisions” by Warsaw, Prague, and Sofia.

Ukraine's comedian president Volodymyr Zelensky took the time to speak with actor Sean Penn as part of a "documentary on the Russian invasion" as his military was being destroyed.
Zelensky released the embarrassing video himself Thursday on Instagram, writing: "The more such people in our country now, true friends of Ukraine, who support the struggle for freedom, the sooner it will be possible to stop Russia's treacherous attack."
"Sean popped up Thursday in Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, after the Russians invaded ... and Ukraine's government says Penn is there to capture the conflict on film [for a documentary]," TMZ reported.

In a Friday interview from the streets of Kyiv, Ukraine, former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko showed his battalion’s weaponry to fight back against a Russian invasion.
Poroshenko told CNN’s “New Day” that he and his civilian defense force plan to “deal” with Russian President Vladimir Putin, who he described as “mad,” “crazy” and “evil.”
“We shall deal with Putin like a man with a lost reason,” Poroshenko advised. “And he’s just simply mad. He’s just simply crazy. He’s just simply evil to come here to kill Ukrainian — Ukrainian, who we lost now about 130 Ukrainian soldiers and about 800 Russian soldiers who were killed just yesterday under the report of the Ukrainian Minister of Defense. And I just want to declare that Putin will not stop Ukraine in our movement to the European Union.”
Russian cargo ship seized in the English Channel
LONDON — France on Saturday intercepted a Russian vessel in the English Channel in line with new EU sanctions against Moscow.
The cargo ship was transporting cars and left Rouen bound for St. Petersburg. However, French sea police redirected the vessel to the port of Boulogne-sur-Mer in northern France.
It is "suspected of belonging to a Russian company that is currently on a sanctions list by the EU," the press office of the Maritime Prefecture of the Channel confirmed to NBC News.

Justice Centre sues feds over abuse of the Emergencies Act
OTTAWA: The Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms has filed a constitutional challenge on behalf of four Canadians, including two decorated military veterans and a retired police officer, to the Trudeau Government invocation of the Emergencies Act on February 14, 2022.
Two of the applicants represented by the Justice Centre had their bank accounts frozen and seized, without judicial authorization or a review process, using laws that normally only apply to terrorists and enemy nations. The Justice Centre’s legal action will argue that the use of the Emergencies Act was unconstitutional and an excessive use of Executive Power, not authorized by the law in the circumstances.

When I was younger, I never received a regular allowance like some of the kids I knew, but if I kept up with my chores and did well in school, my parents would give me a few bucks here and there. I could earn a little extra by doing odd jobs for neighbors, and there were always a few bills in birthday cards, Christmas cards, and that arrived of course, from the tooth fairy.

Fast forward a few decades, and checks, debit cards, and credit cards became available. To some people, these are technically a form of digital currency. A person isn’t physically transferring cash from one hand to another, and yes, they are convenient. But the option of having cash is still available at the moment.
With the rise of alternative digital currency (such as Bitcoin) even Facebook has been wanting to develop its own form of currency, and now, the federal government and Reserve seem to be inching closer to a mandated digital currency.

I have thought and prayed about "bugging out" of CALIF and USA, but I believe God is calling me to share the love of Jesus with those around us when times get bad. Cyber attacks have been planned and I expect AI can help them hit lots of banks or even the entire internet.
