Macron Asks Ministers to Restore Order in France - Reports
PARIS (Sputnik) - French President Emmanuel Macron, during a meeting with ministers on Sunday night, called on them to do everything possible to restore order in France amid ongoing unrest, local TV reported.
Macron met with French Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne and several other ministers at the Elysee Palace on Sunday evening to discuss the situation in the country.
A local TV channel cited participants in the meeting who said that Macron had asked the prime minister, the interior minister and the justice minister to continue doing everything possible to restore order in France.
French Police Unions: “Today the police are in combat because we are at war. Tomorrow we will be in resistance”
Amid the ongoing violence in France, police unions which represent half of the French police tweeted a statement on Friday: “Today the police are in combat because we are at war. Tomorrow we will be in resistance and the government will have to become aware of it.”
France has been witnessing violent protests, acts of looting, arson, and vandalism after an officer shot a teenager, Nahel M, outside Paris on Tuesday, 27 June. The violent spree has been continuing in France for nearly a week now. Apart from countless incidences of arson and looting, the rioters, on 30 June burned down the largest library in Marseilles city in Alcazar.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) - The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) said on Monday that it had thwarted an assassination attempt on Sergey Aksyonov, the head of the Republic of Crimea, organized by the Ukrainian special services.
"An assassination attempt on the head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergey Aksyonov, organized by the Ukrainian special services, has been thwarted ... A citizen of Russia, born in 1988, who was recruited by the Ukrainian Security Service and took a course in reconnaissance and subversive activities on the territory of Ukraine, including training in mine blasting, was detained," the FSB said in a statement.

Poland Sends Hundreds Of Counterterrorism Police To Belarus Border On Wagner Fears
Poland is preparing to bolster defenses along its border with Belarus in the wake of the Wagner mercenary mutiny in Russia and the relocation of the group's controversial leader Yevgeny Prigozhin to Minsk.
Politico is reporting Sunday that the Polish government will send an additional 500 police officers from elite counterterrorism and riot control units to the border, amid concerns that Wagner bases have been established inside Belarus. Already last week Ukraine said it would strengthen its military positions along the northern border.

NATO's nuclear sharing program is part of its policy of nuclear deterrence, which allows the provision of nuclear weapons to NATO member countries, partner countries, and allies that do not have their own nuclear weapons arsenal. These countries are allowed to host the nuclear weaponry of their allies in their own territory and are given the right to take part in nuclear policy decision-making.

Israel Buys 25 More Lockheed F-35 Stealth Jets In $3 Billion Deal
Israel’s Ministry of Defense announced the purchase of a third squadron of F-35 stealth fighter jets in a deal worth $3 billion, Reuters reported on Sunday. Israel will now boast 75 of the Lockheed Martin manufactured war planes in its arsenal.
The defense ministry added further that the deal will be financed through the defense aid package Israel receives from the US.

The IDF on Sunday night launched its largest operation in Jenin since the Second Intifada with a series of airstrikes and moving brigade-level forces into the northern West Bank Palestinian city.
IDF Chief Spokesman Brig, Gen. Daniel Hagari said early Monday that as of now the operation is focused on Jenin, but that it could expand to other parts of the northern West Bank, also known as Samaria.

Yellen will travel to Beijing, the People’s Republic of China (PRC) from July 6-9 for meetings with senior PRC officials," the Treasury Department said on Sunday, adding that "Yellen’s travel follows [US] President [Joe] Biden’s directive after his meeting with [Chinese] President Xi [Jinping] last November to deepen communication between the U.S. and the PRC on a range of issues, including on the global macroeconomy and financial developments."

Banks are to be told by the Treasury that they must protect free speech amid an escalating row over the blacklisting of customers who hold controversial views.

New “Hate Speech Bill” in Michigan would make it a felony to cause someone to ‘Feel’ threatened
A Michigan hate speech bill that has passed the state House and is now in the hands of the Senate is alarming conservatives, people of faith, and legal experts.
The bill, HB 4474, is part of a package of legislation that would replace Michigan’s existing Ethnic Intimidation Act and make it a hate crime to cause someone to “feel terrorized, frightened, or threatened.”
Under the bill’s framework, “sexual orientation” and “gender identity or expression” are included as classes protected against intimidation. If passed, the hate speech legislation would make violators guilty of a felony punishable by up to five years in prison and a fine of $10,000.

French presidential hopeful Marine Le Pen has issued a national address, vowing to save France from the ‘New World Order’ and hold President Macron criminally responsible for the anarchy currently taking place across the country.
“For several days, a state of endemic disorder, violence, and destruction has been established in the country, the images and echoes of which are chillingly brutal,” Le Pen began her address.
Le Pen warned that all of those responsible, from Macron down to the ‘woke’ politicians and politicized unions, would be arrested and tried for treason once she becomes President.
