US Congress Passes Debt Ceiling Deal to Avert Government Default
The vote follows tense negotiations between President Joe Biden, a Democrat, and House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, a Republican. The two parties struggled to work through their opposing views on spending as the US faced a potential default, should they have failed to come to a compromise on raising the debt ceiling limit.
The US Senate passed the Fiscal Responsibility Act, known colloquially as the "debt ceiling deal," late Thursday, effectively averting a potential government default that was expected in the coming week.
A Debt Jubilee Of Biblical Proportions Is Coming Soon... What You Need To Know
Four thousand years ago, the rulers of ancient Babylon discovered a technique to stave off violent revolts.
In ancient times, there was a tendency for people to become hopelessly in debt to their creditors. Eventually, they would rise up and cause instability that could threaten the entire ruling system.
The rulers of the ancient world recognized this dynamic. Their solution was to enact widespread debt cancellation—a debt jubilee.

Chinese fighter jet flies too close to US recon plane flying over South China Sea
(Natural News) A Chinese fighter jet flew far too close to an American reconnaissance jet flying over international waters in the South China Sea on Friday, May 26, in what the U.S. Armed Forces described as an “unnecessarily aggressive maneuver.”
The pilot of the Chinese Shenyang J-16, an advanced fourth-generation fighter jet, flew within 400 feet and “directly in front of the nose” of the U.S. RC-135 reconnaissance plane. A video of the encounter filmed from the cockpit of the RC-135 shows the Chinese fighter jet banking from right to left across the path of the recon plane, causing it to visibly shake as a result. Kinetic War on the U.S. Home Front: The CCP’s Plans to Attack America
Is Xi Jinping’s Putting in Motion an Insurgency Here to Win a Shooting War?
Eyewitness accounts of large numbers of unaccompanied, fighting-age men who appear to be fit, similarly equipped and moving in groups through Latin America, across what was once the United States’ southern border and disappearing into our nation raises a profoundly important question: If the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is actually preparing to complete its longstanding “unrestricted warfare” aimed at taking down the USA with a violent military conflict, is its dictator, Xi Jinping, setting the stage for attacks not just on Taiwan and our Indo-Pacific allies, but ones that would strike decisively in our homeland, as well?
China Property Bailout Rumors Send Global Markets Higher
Global stock markets are rallying this morning on the heels of reports that China is working on a new basket of measures to support the property market after existing policies failed to sustain a rebound in the ailing sector.

A 10,000-meter pit was dug in China - and no one knows why
The thousands of meters of drilling began in the oil-rich Xinjiang region last Tuesday after the President of China, Xi Jinping, called in 2021 to advance rapidly the exploration of the deep Earth.
Chinese scientists have mysteriously begun digging a hole 10,000 meters (32,808 feet) deep into the Earth's crust - and no one quite knows why. One of the participants explained that it was an attempt to explore our planet.
Although no one is sure of the motive, the fact that drilling began on Tuesday in the oil-rich Xinjiang region may point to why, as China has the world's second-largest economy and is trying to find more sustainable alternatives for energy and mineral sources. In this type of search, mineral and energy resources may be located deep below the Earth's surface, especially when the hole is about to reach the depth of a rock whose origins are 145 million years old.
Now that Erdogan is firmly in power, what is Israel's Turkish dilemma? - opinion
With Erdogan now in office for another five years and possibly longer, the expectation in Jerusalem is that it is only a matter of time before he invites Netanyahu for a visit to Ankara.
A little over two weeks after he swept the last election in November, Benjamin Netanyahu received a phone call from Ankara. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan was on the line for the first call between the two leaders in over nine years.
In a statement that Netanyahu’s office put out, the incoming prime minister said that he agreed with Erdogan “to work together to launch a new era in ties between Turkey and Israel” and after Erdogan’s victory in the second round of elections on Sunday, that “new era” has now come.

Yorkshire man sues care home for the death of his mother using end-of-life-drugs without consent
Stowell’s mother died in a care home in May 2020. The care home failed to tell Stowell his mum was gravely ill. With no warning, the care home “invited us in to watch our mum die. We didn’t even know she was ill,” Stowell said.
Stowell has accused a care home of putting his mother on end-of-life care without his family’s consent during the covid pandemic. His mother suffered from dementia and didn’t have the mental capacity to make such a decision. The care home made the decision, without reference to the family, to give his mum end-of-life drugs. Stowell would not have made that decision if he had been asked.
WHO do you think you are? Outrage over 'unprecedented land grab' that 'could see World Health Organization force Britain, the US and Australia into lockdowns in future pandemics'
New powers could potentially plunge Britain, the US and Australia into lockdown measures at the whim of the World Health Organization, it was claimed today.
The UN agency – heavily criticised for how it handled Covid – is considering 300 amendments to its legally-binding rulebook.
One measure floated, MPs and campaigners fear, opens the door for member states to be made to comply with any advice issued during future pandemics, such as enforcing vaccine passports and border closures.
"They're prepping us for the next pandemic, Covid was a rehearsal"
A newly-formed international coalition of doctors, experts and business leaders representing millions of medical professionals around the world unveiled a startling new ad today entitled “Never Again” that asks “why are so many doctors having second thoughts about COVID?”

Houlihan also pointed out: “Has anyone taken a step back and seriously looked at what signals these reports focusing on culling send to young farmers considering entering a sector? Are Ireland and Europe serious about Generational Renewal?”
