Ambassador Bridge standoff continues
Rebel News reporters David Menzies and Isabelle Rivo are on scene at the Ambassador Bridge, a major border crossing linking Ontario to Michigan. Premier Doug Ford declared a state of emergency Friday, and heavily equipped police have been having a standoff with demonstrators on the bridge since late last night.
David Menzies and Isabelle Rivo were live on location earlier in the day, where they captured this footage.

BREAKING: State Department says Americans fleeing Ukraine must show proof of vaccination to enter Poland
The US State Department announced Saturday that Americans fleeing Ukraine may now enter Poland but must show proof of COVID-19 vaccination first.
US citizens may now enter Poland through the land border with Ukraine, according to a Sunday press release, with no advanced approval required.
However, evacuating American citizens must present a valid US passport and proof of COVID-19 vaccination. Travelers are also "encouraged" to present a negative test result from a PCR or antigen COVID-19 test, "which will facilitate entry into Poland," the State Department stipulated in the statement.

NEW DELHI (Reuters) - Pfizer Inc said on Friday it had withdrawn an application for emergency-use authorisation of its COVID-19 vaccine in India, after failing to meet the drug regulator’s demand for a local safety and immunogenicity study.
The decision means the vaccine will not be available for sale in the world’s two most populous countries, India and China, in the near future. Both countries are running their immunisation campaigns using other products.

Lawmakers in Los Angeles earlier this week voted to strip a sheriff who refused to mandate COVID-19 vaccines for his staff of his enforcement power.
The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors decided on Tuesday to relieve Sheriff Alex Villanueva of the responsibility to enforce COVID-19 vaccine mandates, The Los Angeles Times reported.
The decision to strip him of the responsibility comes after Villanueva has for months refused to enforce the mandate.

A US Virginia-class nuclear-powered attack submarine has been detected and chased away in Russian territorial waters off the Kuril Islands, Russia’s Defense Ministry said on Saturday.
The vessel was found submerged off the small uninhabited island of Urup while Russia’s Pacific Fleet was holding exercises in the area. Russian vessels contacted the submarine, warning it was in the country’s territorial waters and ordering it to surface immediately, the military said.

It is also unclear what 'slightly conscious' actually means, because the concept of consciousness in artificial intelligence is a controversial idea.
An artificial neural network is a collection of connected units or nodes that model the neurons found within a biological brain, that can be trained to perform tasks and activities without human input - by learning, however, most experts say these systems aren't even close to human intelligence, let alone consciousness.
