Despite the billions worth of US and NATO-supplied military equipment pumped into the Kiev regime, the Ukrainian counteroffensive, launched on June 4, has so far come up empty, while suffering “significant losses” both in manpower and equipment, according to Russia’s Ministry of Defense.

The much-heralded Ukrainian counteroffensive may be floundering, but that has not stopped the West from persistently flushing millions down the sinkhole that this “assistance for Kiev” has become.

Speaking at an online briefing on Friday, Lavrov said that Russia has “not seen confirmation of a single fact of deliberate shelling of civilian targets by the Russian army.” He claimed, however, that the Ukrainian side has been “violating international humanitarian law and committing a war crime by allowing mercenaries, Western generals and instructors to use civilian objects to hold all sorts of meetings.”

Two Ukrainian generals were killed in a Russian high-precision strike on the Donbass city of Kramatorsk on Tuesday, the Defense Ministry in Moscow said on Thursday, citing “updated data.”

The ministry had earlier claimed that the strike targeted the temporary base of the Ukrainian Armed Forces 56th Motorized Infantry Brigade. Since then, the ministry has added that the base was hosting a “staff meeting” involving dozens of Ukrainian officers and foreign advisers.

“The picture we see is that the enemy, having reached our first line of defense, can’t advance through it. We warned them about this. They realistically do not have the forces and resources, for all that they’ve built them up, to break through our three echelons,” Alaudinov said on the ‘60 Minutes’ evening news show.

The White House feels it must urgently boost Kiev’s military capabilities, the outlet said, weeks into a much-touted Ukrainian counteroffensive which has thus far failed to yield any big gains.

US President Joe Biden has no intention of sending American troops to Ukraine, State Department spokesman Matthew Miller told reporters on Thursday. However, while its forces may not be openly fighting Russians, an unknown number of US military personnel are reported active in the zone of hostilities.

“The president has been very clear that US troops will not be on the ground in Ukraine,” Miller said at a press briefing in Washington.

Mularczyk was informed that in the Olaf Scholz-led coalition government, the SPD at least “understands the problem and wants to solve it in some way in a formula of dialogue with Poland.”

Kristina Baikova, 28, an executive of Loko-Bank, apparently fell out of the window of the building on Khodynsky Boulevard.

Police are understood to be investigating her death. Ms Baikova was at her eleventh-floor apartment with her friend, a 34-year-old named Andrei. He claimed she invited him for a drink before falling out of the window.
