Russia sends message to foreign mercenaries in Ukraine
The military says it knows the location of all foreign fighters in Ukraine and vows to continue targeting them
Western governments encouraging their citizens to enlist in Ukraine will be responsible for their death, the Russian Ministry of Defense said Monday, vowing to continue the strikes such as the one that destroyed the Yavorov base and show no mercy to mercenaries.
“All locations of foreign mercenaries in Ukraine are known to us,” Russian military spokesman Major-General Igor Konashenkov said in a statement on Monday. “I want to warn you again – there will be no mercy for the mercenaries, no matter where they are on the territory of Ukraine.”
Peace Treaty With Russia Could Be Reached by May, Zelensky Adviser Believes
Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky submitted to the nation's parliament a bill to extend the martial law regime in Ukraine for another 30 days, introduced on February 24 with the start of the Russian special military operation to demilitarize and "denazify" the country.
Oleksiy Arestovych, an adviser to the head of Zelensky's office, reportedly believes that a peace agreement with Russia in the ongoing special military operation can be reached within one to two weeks at the earliest, and at the latest in May.
In an interview with Russian journalist Mark Feygin on Monday, Arestovych expressed his assertion that Ukraine could reach a peace agreement with Russia "no later than May, early May... and maybe much faster."

United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres warned on Monday that an ongoing escalation of war in Ukraine ”whether by accident or design” will threaten the entire humanity. He further alarmed that the conflict may end up in the nuclear apocalypse.
“The prospect of nuclear conflict, once unthinkable, is now back within the realm of possibility,” Guterres said.
Guterres’ comments on nuclear war were made in relation to President Vladimir Putin raising Russia’s deterrent forces – which include various strategic weapons, both nuclear and conventional – to “special” alert last month, a development the UN chief called “bone-chilling.”
Israel hit by ‘largest ever’ cyberattack – media
Websites of government agencies and the prime minister’s office were targeted
The websites of Israel’s interior, health, justice, and welfare ministries, as well as the prime minister’s office, were taken offline on Monday in what a defense source claimed was the largest ever cyberattack against Israel. Authorities believe a state actor or large organization was responsible.
Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported the cyber strike, citing a “defense establishment source” who claimed it to be the worst ever to hit the Jewish state. The attack reportedly targeted sites using the ‘gov.il’ domain, which serves all Israeli government websites except defense-related ones.

Following its move to allow praise for the pro-Ukraine neo-nazi Azov Battalion last week, Facebook said they would permit ‘calls for violence against Russians’.
“As a result of the Russian invasion of Ukraine we have temporarily made allowances for forms of political expression that would normally violate our rules like violent speech such as ‘death to the Russian invaders.’ We still won’t allow credible calls for violence against Russian civilians,” a Meta spokesperson said in a statement.

NATO has amassed 30,000 troops 200 aircraft and 50 warships near Russia’s border for military exercises risking Mad Vlad’s rage. The drill named Cold Response has kicked off today in Norway amid escalating tensions between Russia and the West over the invasion of Ukraine.
According to TheSun, The exercise includes 30,000 troops from more than 25 countries from Europe and North America, 200 aircraft, and 50 vessels. The largest Nato exercise which is held just a few miles from the Russian border was planned long before Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine but its significance has now been heightened.
“This exercise is extremely important for the security of Norway and its allies. We will practice an allied reinforcement of Norway”, Norwegian Defence Minister Odd Roger Enoksen. “It is not being held because of the Russian authorities’ attack on Ukraine, but given the backdrop, there is a heightened significance.”

In the middle of the night, the U.S. Senate passed the Violence Against Women Act Reauthorization Act of 2022 (VAWA). Some gun rights groups raised alarm bells when this act passed the U.S. House of Representatives last year with Republican support. At the some Republicans claimed the anti-gun provisions would be removed.
Democrats and Republicans led by Senator Jodi Ernst negotiated the bill’s anti-gun provisions.
Republican politicians, who previously vowed never to vote for the bill unless the anti-gun provisions were removed, voted yes with those anti-gun provisions fully intact.
Biden Warns Russia Will Pay ‘Severe Price’ If It Launches Chemical Weapons Attack in Ukraine and Blames U.S.
President Biden recently threatened Russia that it would “pay a severe price” if it used chemical weapons in Ukraine.
On Sunday, national security adviser Jake Sullivan echoed Biden’s remarks. He also argued that the Russians accusing the U.S. and Ukraine of potentially using chemical weapons is a “tell” that they may be planning to carry out a ‘false flag’ operation.
“It is a very legitimate concern, fear that Russia would use chemical weapons in Ukraine,” Sullivan said on CNN’s “State of the Union.”
