CNET reports: “When the stadium-sized asteroid 99942 Apophis comes uncomfortably close to Earth on April 13, 2029, a team of South Korean scientists hopes to greet it in space.
“Apophis is classified as ‘potentially hazardous’ due to its proximity and size [and] the Korean plan involves approaching Apophis in January of 2029 before it makes its close pass above us.
REPORT: "Panic in Poland. Students Withdrawing from University and Going to DPR for Studies"
New information coming out of eastern Europe says college students in Poland are panicking over a (now likely) coming war with Russia. Students are said to be withdrawing en-masse from Polish Universities and leaving the country to go study in the Donetsk People's Republic in eastern Ukraine!
That would indicate the students believe it will be SAFER to be in Donetsk if/when war breaks out between Russia and Ukraine.

A volcanic eruption in the Canary Islands which began on September 19 has become the longest on record in La Palma after 85 days and shows no signs of ending.
The Cumbre Vieja volcano has since destroyed nearly 3,000 local buildings and forced thousands to abandon their homes.
After several days of low-level activity it today blew a big cloud of ash high in the sky and produced loud explosions as it suddenly sprang to life again.
