BREAKING: GoFundMe refuses to release money donated to Freedom Convoy
GoFundMe has announced that it will not be releasing over $9 million dollars in donations to the trucker Freedom Convoy 2022 organizers.
The online funding platform posted the announcement on Friday on the Freedom Convoy’s fundraising webpage.
In its reasons for cancelling the fundraiser and withholding the money, GoFundMe stated that it “now has evidence that the previously peaceful demonstration has become an occupation, with police reports of violence and other unlawful activity.”
“To ensure GoFundMe remains a trusted platform, we work with local authorities to ensure we have a detailed, factual understanding of events taking place on the ground. Following a review of relevant facts and multiple discussions with local law enforcement and city officials, this fundraiser is now in violation of our Terms of Service (Term 8, which prohibits the promotion of violence and harassment) and has been removed from the platform.”
Freedom Convoy finds new crowdfunding platform & crashes it
Despite technical issues caused by a surge in traffic, the new campaign is growing quickly
A website hosting a new fundraising effort to support truck drivers protesting vaccine mandates in Canada is experiencing major technical difficulties, with a wave of traffic crashing the platform after GoFundMe canceled a prior campaign that garnered millions of dollars.
Shortly after GoFundMe gave the boot to the ‘Freedom Convoy 2022’ campaign on Friday afternoon, organizers made another attempt on Christian crowdfunding platform GiveSendGo, raising more than $150,000 in just a matter of hours. A spike in visitors has caused problems for the website, however.
“We know the site is slow, or getting a server error. We are working on it! All hands on deck. There's thousands on [the site] making successful donations so please try again if you get an error!” it said.

Convoy protest set to disrupt traffic in Helsinki
The Convoy Finland protest starts on Friday in Helsinki, with demonstrators saying they plan to gather from 6pm until 10pm in protest at Covid restrictions and high fuel costs.
The protest will continue on Saturday from 10am until 10pm, according to organisers.
The protesters' demands include the end of all Covid-related restrictions in Finland, a 50 percent reduction in fuel taxes, and the resignation of the current government.
Organisers have told police that they plan to use civil disobedience tactics to press their claims. Police say they believe the aim is to block off traffic into and out of central Helsinki.
Long Funeral Homes, Short Life Insurers? Ex-Blackrock Fund Manager Discovers Disturbing Trends In Mortality
Four weeks ago, OneAmerica insurance company CEO Scott Davison revealed that they had witnessed 'the highest death rates in the history of this business - not just at OneAmerica' with a jump of '40% over what they were pre-pandemic.' Interestingly, Davison noted that the majority of deaths are not classified as due to Covid-19.
The implication to many was clear - that the Covid-19 vaccine is linked to the excess mortality, and months of vaccine injury reports were now spilling over to actuarial data - which is beginning to show, among other things, that younger, working-age people began dying in greater numbers as vaccine mandates hit - for a disease which primarily kills older, non-working age individuals. The counter argument, often presented without evidence, is that the increase is due to people who postponed elective surgeries and other medical treatments during the pandemic.
Ex-Blackrock fund manager Ed Dowd is in the former camp, and has spent the last month analyzing breadcrumbs associated with a rise in excess mortality vs. pre-pandemic levels. Given that we're now in the middle of earnings season, there are some pretty big crumbsrolling out of the insurance and funeral services industries which are beginning to paint a disturbing picture.

Special Report: Undeclared Nanotech found in New Zealand's Pfizer Jabs - Government on Notice (Video)
Bombshell evidence of nanotech particulates in the Pfizer Comirnaty injection have been found by NZ scientists and has resulted in the government being put on notice.
After being denied a meeting with the Director General of Health and other health officials, the information was presented to a Health Select Committee through lawyer Sue Grey where again attempts were made to stop the information from being presented.
Dr. Matthew Shelton talks to Sue Grey about the findings and Donna Pokere-Phillips, a Maori Minister of the People outside of parliament, discusses being part of the event and what the findings mean, and why she agrees that the government is now on notice for crimes against humanity.
Real-World Covid-19 Vaccine Effectiveness against Death now as low as MINUS 112% according to official Public Health Data
Official figures from Public Health Scotland show that over the past month the fully vaccinated population were on average twice as likely to die of Covid-19 than the not-vaccinated population, with the most recent weeks figures recording a vaccine effectiveness against death of minus-112%.
These figures are evidence of suspected antibody dependent enhancement (ADE), a phenomenon where antibodies can enhance virus entry and replication in cells.
The antibodies generated during an immune response recognise and bind to a pathogen, but they are unable to prevent infection. Instead, these antibodies act as a “Trojan horse,” allowing the pathogen to get into cells and exacerbate the immune response.
The result is often more severe illness than if the person had been unvaccinated, and this is precisely what we are now seeing with official figures from Scotland.
UK: Digital Economy Bill sneaks past second reading
Despite a number of objections from MPs on all sides of the house, the Digital Economy Bill has passed its second reading in the House of Commons.
The Digital Economy Bill managed to pass its second reading stage in the House of Commons last night, following a scarcely attended debate.
With just 35 MPs present or five per cent of elected representatives the bill was debated for a number of hours with varying levels of support and indeed disapproval.
It was presented by the Culture, Media and Sport Secretary Ben Bradshaw, who acknowledged the widespread criticism that the bill had not been given enough time to be scrutinised in parliament.
"It is not ideal that this bill is not likely to enjoy full debate," he said, "but at the end of the parliament there are always bills to which this applies."
Bradshaw's shadow counterpart, Jeremy Hunt MP, slammed the bill as a "weak, dithering, incompetent attempt" to deal with the digital issues at hand and pledged the Conservatives would re-examine it if they got into power after 6 May.
A Record Number Of Robots Joined American Workforce In 2021 Amid COVID Labor Crunch
The impending takeover of the American labor market by robots now has a trade group to represent its interests. It's called the Association for Advancing Automation, or A3, and according to them, 2021 was a boom year for sales: more robots joined the American workforce last year than ever before. And 2022 promises to beat those numbers by a solid margin, as early indications suggest the jobs market saw another COVID-driven contraction during January.
Companies across North America laid out more than $2 billion for almost 40K robots in 2021 as large swaths of the human labor force suddenly became immobilized by COVID and the economy-crushing lockdowns impsed not just in the US but across the globe - wreaking unprecedented supply-chain crushing havoc inside the engine of global trade.
As West refuses to back down, what is Russia's next move?
The West’s response to Russia’s security proposals is just the start, not the end
With tensions running high in Eastern Europe, Madrid’s El Pais newspaper has published leaked responses from the US and NATO to Russia’s proposals to de-escalate the situation on the continent.
Obviously, the document is unlikely to please Russia’s leadership. Moscow’s key demand was rejected – legally binding guarantees blocking the bloc’s potential further expansion, including into Ukraine. The remaining offers will do little to defuse the standoff or bring about compromises. Some are simply non-starters for Moscow. We are talking, for example, about the withdrawal of Russian troops or peacekeepers from Abkhazia, South Ossetia, Moldova, and Crimea.
Biden Admin Issues Sanctions Waiver for Iran’s Civil Nuclear Program for First Time Since 2020
For the first time since the Trump administration pulled out of the Iran nuclear deal, the US has temporarily removed some of the sanctions it imposed against Iran, allowing other countries to resume cooperation with Tehran’s civil nuclear power program.
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken signed several sanctions waivers on Friday, allowing other countries and firms to work with Iran’s civil nuclear program without risk of sanction by Washington.
Bloomberg accidentally reports that Russia invaded Ukraine
Bloomberg made a blunder.
The financial news site accidentally reported that Russia had invaded Ukraine Friday afternoon with a headline on its homepage.
“Live: Russia invades Ukraine,” read a jarring headline on Bloomberg’s homepage at around 4 p.m.
It stayed up for about 30 minutes, according to Olga Lautman, a Russian analyst who posted the message on social media.
Users who clicked on the eye-popping story — which comes as Russian troops mass on the Ukrainian border and US officials warn of a potential invasion — were shown an error page.
“I went on the site and saw the breaking news but knew it wasn’t real because I deal with Ukraine and will be one of the first to know,” Lautman told The Post. “It is bizarre and a pretty big mistake to make considering this is a potential large scale invasion and everyone is on edge.”
Heavily armed German police officers raid ‘illegal’ mask-free school started by parents
The children were separated from their parents and gathered on the second floor before being questioned individually for four hours.
ERLANGEN, Germany (LifeSiteNews) — A German school not registered with the government, where children were being taught in a mask-free environment, was closed following a raid by heavily armed police on January 20.
The school had been set up by parents in an effort to protect their children from some of the most traumatic and long-term damaging effects of COVID restrictions such as mask mandates currently imposed on school children in Germany.
Whitehead: Government’s Kill Switch For Your Car, Freedoms And Life
Do you want a government controlled kill switch in your car? It’s for your safety, they say. It will help them keep drunk drivers off the road, they say. It may be used if you are not paying attention to the road, like texting or playing games on your smart phone. It may track your location 24×7. Wow, it’s just like having a Technocrat in every car. ⁃ TN Editor
If we haven’t learned by now, we should beware of anything the government insists is for our own good.
Take the Biden Administration’s Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.
Given the deteriorating state of the nation’s infrastructure (aging highways and bridges, outdated railways and airports, etc.), which have been neglected for years in order to fund America’s endless wars abroad, it would seem like an obvious and long overdue fix.
Yet there’s a catch.
There’s always a catch.
Tucked into the whopping $1 trillion bipartisan spending bill is a provision requiring automakers to prescribe a “federal motor vehicle safety standard for advanced drunk and impaired driving prevention technology, and for other purposes.”
High court inclined to expand warrantless entry into homes
WASHINGTON (AP) — The Supreme Court on Wednesday seemed inclined to expand when officers can enter a suspect's home without a warrant.
The court has previously said that an officer in “hot pursuit” of a suspect believed to have committed a felony crime can enter the person's home without a warrant if the person goes inside. On Wednesday, the court was debating whether the same is true if the officer is pursuing the person over a misdemeanor. The case is important both to law enforcement and to groups concerned about privacy.
Several justices, both liberal and conservative, suggested that making a distinction between felony and misdemeanor cases would be difficult and problematic.
Memphis: All Citizens Seeking Emergency Shelter From Ice Storm Must Take Covid Test
Anyone seeking shelter from the Memphis ice storm must take a COVID test, according to the Democrats who run City Hall.
Tens of thousands of Memphians are without power and it could be days before MLGW restores electricity to the city.
It’s virtually impossible to find a hotel room anywhere in the Mid-South so many citizens are seeking refuge in city shelters.
There’s just one big problem: if you don’t take a COVID test, you won’t be allowed inside.
Really interesting! I hope we’ll see convoys in Europe too.
