Fresh deadly quake in Türkiye
The Turkish emergencies agency AFAD reported a new earthquake in the east, with at least one fatality recorded
A new deadly earthquake hit Türkiye at around midday on Monday, the national disaster relief agency reported. According to preliminary reports, one person has been killed and 69 others injured in the eastern province of Malatya.
The Turkish disaster and emergency management agency AFAD said the tremor measured 5.6 in magnitude, with the epicenter located in the Yesilyurt district. The quake was estimated to have originated at a depth of approximately seven kilometers and could be felt in neighboring provinces, according to the rescue agency.
Western Leaders Privately Admit Ukraine Can't Win The War
Western leaders privately told Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that Ukraine can not win the war against Russia and that it should begin peace talks with Moscow this year in exchange for closer ties with NATO.
The private communications are at odds with public statements from Western leaders who routinely say they will continue to support Ukraine for as long as it takes until it achieves victory on the battlefield.

He warned in the new comments that the Russian people may not survive in NATO countries succeed in imposing a "strategic defeat" on Russia.
CIA Director: US 'Confident' China Mulling Weapons Deliveries To Russia
CIA Director William Burns has weighed in directly on Biden administration assertions that China is mulling providing Russia with lethal aid to further its military action in Ukraine.
Burns told CBS' "Face the Nation" on Sunday that the US is "confident" that Beijing is considering it at this point. "We’re confident that the Chinese leadership is considering the provision of lethal equipment," he said.
"We also don’t see that a final decision has been made yet, and we don’t see evidence of actual shipments of lethal equipment."
UK Defence Secretary Warns ‘War is Coming To Britain’
UK Defence Secretary Ben Wallace has warned that “war is coming” to Britain and demanded that the government commit to more military spending.

Turkish Foreign Minister Says Ankara Still Unable to Approve Sweden's NATO Application
ISTANBUL (Sputnik) - Turkiye is still unable to approve Sweden's accession to NATO at this stage as Stockholm has not fully implemented its agreements with Ankara, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said on Monday.
"There are certain obligations that were taken by Sweden and Finland in connection with their intention to enter NATO. We do not see the implementation of all steps on the part of Sweden, so at this stage we cannot approve its entry into the alliance," Cavusoglu said at a joint press conference with Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto.
