Freedom Convoy co-organizer Chris Barber was arrested by Ottawa Police on Thursday.
Glen McGregor, Parliamentary reporter for CTV, shared a photograph of Freedom Convoy co-organizer Chris Barber being arrested by Ottawa Police on Thursday.
McGregor reported that Barber was arrested on Albert Street.
According to the CBC, Barber is expected to face charges. The protest in downtown Ottawa has crossed into its third week.
Freedom Convoy organizer Tamara Lich arrested in Ottawa
Freedom Convoy organizer Tamara Lich has been arrested by Ottawa police as Trudeau's crackdown on freedom protesters continues.
As Lich was being arrested, she told her fellow protesters to "hold the line."
Just one day earlier, Lich appeared resigned to the outcome in a tearful video that was shared to social media:
Freedom Convoy calls on Supreme Court to Review Trudeau Government
The Freedom Convoy has published an Open Letter to all levels of government, including the Supreme Court, calling for an end to vaccine mandates and passports, as well as an inquiry into the government's response to COVID.
"End the mandates; end the vaccine passports. This is why we are here," the letter begins.
"We began our freedom convoy with a clear destination: Restoring freedom for our families, our neighbours, and country. We arrived in Ottawa 20 days ago, taking a stand for our future."

UKRAINE EXPLODES INTO BATTLE - BOTH SIDES ENGAGING
At about 2:30 AM eastern US time on Thursday, shelling and mortar fire from Ukraine forces began hitting both Donetsk and Luhansk. Ukraine is seven hours AHEAD of U.S. eastern time, so the shelling began around 7:30 PM Wednesday night on the US east Coast time zone.
Reports, mostly from social media, indicate heavy fighting by both sides along what is called the "Line of Contact" between the militias of Luhansk/Donetsk, and the Ukrainian Army.
For much of the early morning hours Thursday since the shelling began, Ukraine has flatly denied firing on either Luhansk or Donetsk. Ukraine has repeatedly said they are not engaging. Yet numerous videos from civilian homes in the area, with the clear sounds of shells flying overhead, and of mortars or artillery shells exploding in the distance, and undeniable proof that __ someone __ is attacking.
