‘Will of the people’ against ‘dictate of the West’: Highlights of Putin’s speech at signing ceremony for treaties of accession
Moscow will defend the choice of the people and oppose the neocolonialist hegemony of the West, the Russian president said
Russian President Vladimir Putin delivered a historic speech on Friday at a ceremony in Moscow at which he signed treaties paving the way for the inclusion of four former Ukrainian regions into the Russian Federation.
Among other things, the president commented on the future of the four regions within Russia, potential talks with Kiev, and the continued neocolonialist policy of the US and its allies, which he says is at the root of many modern crises.
White House responds to Ukraine’s NATO request
Now is not the time, says national security adviser Jake Sullivan
The US is committed to the “open door” policy when it comes to NATO, but now is the wrong time to consider Ukraine’s membership application, President Joe Biden’s national security adviser Jake Sullivan said on Friday.
“Right now, our view is that the best way for us to support Ukraine is through practical, on the ground support in Ukraine, and that the process in Brussels should be taken up at a different time,” Sullivan told reporters at the White House press briefing.
Zelensky sets conditions for talks with Russia
Ukraine will not negotiate with Moscow until Putin is replaced as president, Zelensky and his cabinet said
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has refused to negotiate a peace settlement as long as Vladimir Putin remains president of Russia, issuing a regime change demand via his official Telegram channel on Friday.
Claiming he had “always offered Russia coexistence on equal, honest, dignified and fair terms,” Zelensky blamed Russia for the failure of negotiations, insisting that it was “obvious this is impossible with this Russian president.”

Exclusive-Europe braces for mobile network blackouts - sources
PARIS/STOCKHOLM/MILAN (Reuters) - Once unthinkable, mobile phones could go dark around Europe this winter if power cuts or energy rationing knocks out parts of the mobile networks across the region.
Russia's decision to halt gas supplies via Europe's key supply route in the wake of the Ukraine conflict has increased the chances of power shortages. In France, the situation is made worse by several nuclear power plants shutting down for maintenance.
Ex-Treasury Secretary warns global economic risk approaching Pre-Great Recession level
The current level of risk in global markets is reminiscent of conditions seen in 2007 ahead of the Great Recession, ex-Treasury Secretary Larry Summers warned on Thursday.
Summers detailed his concerns one day after the Bank of England was forced to intervene to stabilize the United Kingdom’s cratering economy — an event that some saw as a potential “contagion” event that could infect global markets.
“I do certainly think we’re living through a period of elevated risk,” Summers said during an appearance on Bloomberg on Thursday. “Earthquakes don’t come all of a sudden — there are tremors first. Most of the time, when there are tremors, they’re just tremors and it goes away, but not 100% of the time.”
Global 'Unhappiness' Is Soaring
Last year was a difficult period for many people, and as Gallup's latest Negative Experience Index indicates, unhappiness continued to rise worldwide in 2021, "as the world overall became a sadder, more worried and more stressed-out place".
But, as Statista's Martin Armstrong details below, in two countries - Afghanistan and Lebanon - more people were living in misery than anywhere else on the planet.
Anti-Globalism Is Going Mainstream – Which Means Engineered Disaster Is About To Strike
I have noted in the past that criminals tend to brag about their criminality when they believe there’s nothing anyone can do about it. Frankly, in their narcissism many of them can’t help but revel in the moment and let everyone know how “superior” they are to the rest of us. We witnessed many moments like this from elitists within globalists institutions the past couple of years at the height of the pandemic pandemonium.
There were people like the globalist academics at MIT proclaiming that we were “never going back to normal” and that we were going to have to accept the loss of many of our freedoms for the rest of our lives in order to combat the spread of covid.

Medical truth was criminalized by California today
Gavin Newsom perhaps thought burying the news on Friday afternoon would be best for his future career. But we won't forget.

With The Vast Majority Of Americans Victimized By Vax Propaganda, We Need Total Pushback Against Prevalent Physician Beliefs And Behaviors
After truth telling in my writings for about two years, I remain saddened that the vast majority of the public remains victimized by propaganda in favor of vaccines and boosters while ignoring the many truths I and others have been shouting.
It now seems important for all of us who know the truth to put much of the blame on regular doctors that people ordinarily see. The very sad fact is that nearly all of them are a combination of being ignorant (about COVID, vaccines and their alternatives), cowards for being unwilling to risk their jobs and prestige, and just plain biased - supporting what government agencies and medical establishment forces have hit the public with.

This may not be a popular comment… but I came in this world without a tattoo and I will leave without one.
The thing about Russel that troubles me the most is he is careful with his wording, as to not get banned by You Tube, which I am guessing, he is monetized. We should not be truth tellers just for the money end of it. Are you really a truth teller if you have to worry about making money in the process? I guess if you are not pushy about getting tips, it can be an alright thing to do.
