FDA authorizes Pfizer Covid booster for children 5 to 11 years old
A study in February found that two doses of the vaccine offered little protection against the omicron variant.
The Food and Drug Administration on Tuesday authorized a booster dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine for children ages 5 to 11.
Children in the age group can get a booster shot at least five months after they’ve received the primary two-dose series, the FDA said in a statement.

A video of members of the nationalist Azov Battalion and Ukrainian troops surrendering to Russian forces after being holed up for weeks at the Azovstal steel plant in Mariupol has been released by the Russian Defense Ministry.
The clip, which was published on Tuesday, shows the Azov neo-Nazis and Ukrainian regular forces members being searched by the Russian servicemen and put on buses which were waiting for them outside the plant.
Many of those who laid down their arms appeared to be seriously wounded as they were carried out on stretchers. Some of the injured were filmed receiving medical assistance on site.
Over 120,000 Hunter Biden Emails Uploaded To Searchable Database
A former Trump White House staffer has uploaded more than 120,000 emails found on Hunter Biden's abandoned laptop to a searchable database this week, which can be found at the (slowly loading) website: BidenLaptopEmails.com. In addition to searching, visitors can download the emails as well.
Set up by former Peter Navarro aide Garrett Ziegler, who worked in the Trump administration Office of Trade and Manufacturing Policy, the emails contain infamous hits such as the "10 for the big guy," in which Hunter Biden's business partner James Gillar suggested he should hold 10% of a multi-million-dollar deal with the Chinese. Ziegler posted the emails through his organization, Marco Polo.
Kim Mobilizes Military To Tackle "Explosive" North Korean COVID Outbreak, Infected Told To 'Gargle Saltwater'
North Korea first acknowledged an "explosive" outbreak of COVID-19 last week, with health officials instructing residents to 'gargle' saltwater to treat the virus as medical supplies remain limited and a non-existent vaccine program, Reuters reports.
Leader Kim Jong Un blasted health officials over the slow response to counter the virus and the lack of medication for not reaching people quickly. Kim had to mobilize the army's medical corps to "stabilize the supply of medicines in Pyongyang City," according to the state news agency KCNA.
Ransomware Gang Threatens To "Overthrow" Costa Rica's Government As Attack Deepens
Last week, Costa Rica declared a state of emergency after a Conti Group ransomware attackinfected government computer networks. Now, the ransomware gang responsible for the attack said its objective is to overthrow the government, according to AP News.
On Monday, newly elected President Rodrigo Chaves told reporters that the Russian-speaking cyber gang had increased ransom payment to $20 million. He said the ransomware had impacted 27 government institutions, including federal agencies, state-run utilities, and municipalities.

Gas stations across the US are running out of fuel and in anticipation of an increase in gas prices, gas stations in the state of Washington are reportedly reprogramming pumps to include double-digit numbers in "price per gallon" as the current trend could put prices over $10.00.
At the 76 Gas Station in Auburn, Washington located at 1725 Auburn Way North, gas pumps have been reprogrammed to make room for double-digit pricing. In March, they still had single-digit programming.
Monkeypox ‘spreading in community’ in UK
Four more cases of monkeypox have been confirmed in the UK, bringing the number of people in the country known to have the disease to seven.
Three of the cases have been detected in London, and one in the north-east of England, the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) said on Monday.
All four of the latest cases appear to have been infected in London and the health agency is investigating how they caught the virus.
Common contacts have been established in only two of these people.

Report: Russians fire on IAF craft in Syria for the 1st time
S-300 battery, which can only be operated by Russian officers, reportedly launches missile at IAF planes operating in Syria.
Air defense systems operated by Russian officers opened fire at Israeli aircraft operating in Syria for the first time, Channel 13 News reported.
The alleged incident occurred on Friday, when IAF aircraft carried out an operation in western Syria.
The Syrians activated their air defense systems, which missed the Israeli planes. As the planes turned back towards Israel, the Russian S-300 systems were activated and launched.

God has placed several people in my life in the last year to show how some demonic activity is increasing... my cousin called me months ago confessing he has avoided me for years because he worships satan and communes with demons and they have taught him a lot of info he couldn't learn elsewhere (I led him to Christ as a teen, praying he returns, he has been asking about Jesus a lot the past year)... recently met a young man who has made a radical commitment to Christ (street evangelism, passion for His Word)- he was a drug addict and he shared how LSD, DMT stimulate the pineal gland (third eye) enabling visions into spiritual realm where demons and 'angelic beings' are visible... he has been sober/clean for 6 months but he shared friends all seeing the same beings and structures when taking DMT via mushrooms or LSD together... he believes demons share knowledge about technology and POSE AS ALIENS... that researchers in 50s & 60s took LSD to develop early computers & tech... I don't know any more than that, but I think there is truth in what they are telling me.
