Lavrov: Plans to Deliver F-16 Fighters to Kiev Sets Dangerous Development of Events

MOSCOW (Sputnik) - The United States and its NATO allies are creating risks of direct confrontation with Russia, and this could lead to catastrophic consequences, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has said, adding that Moscow will consider delivery of nuclear-capable F-16s to Kiev as a threat from the West.

The minister said that there would be no reason to talk about the use of nuclear weapons by Russia if the West does not make decisions that create strategic risks. Lavrov also recalled that the conditions for the use of nuclear weapons are clearly defined in Russia’s military doctrine.

People familiar with the discussions said the bloc could reconnect a subsidiary of Rosselkhozbank, a major Russian agricultural lender, specifically to allow for grain and fertilizer transactions. According to reports, the plan was proposed by Moscow through UN-brokered negotiations.

"NATO is not a party to the Korean Peninsula issues," Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin told a daily briefing.

"Its communique ignores the crux of the issues and the negative impact of relevant parties’ military deterrence and pressure and double standards on nuclear non-proliferation."

Cohen called on Serbia to condemn and oppose Iranian terrorist arms, as they recently attempted to attack the Israeli embassy in Azerbaijan, and told Vučić that Iranian terrorism is a global threat.

The Iranian-inspired attempted terror attack in Azerbaijan was prevented by Azerbaijani authorities, and the suspect, an Afghani citizen, was arrested on suspicion of conspiring with additional individuals to conduct a terrorist attack on the embassy of a third country in Baku.

Steven Collins, Dean of the College of Archaeology at Trinity Southwest University, told Joel. C Rosenberg in a new episode of “The Rosenberg Report” how he and his team uncovered the Biblical cities of Sodom and Gomorrah in Jordan. He says he used the scriptures as clues to find the location.

“There’s so much specific information about the location of these cities that you would practically have to be blind and illiterate not to be able to find the location of Sodom because there are at least 25 known pieces of geography that you can triangulate between to take you to the city of Sodom. It’s not difficult,” he explained.
