US officials believe Ukrainians attacked Kremlin – NYT
Kiev had denied responsibility for the drone incident, while Western media outlets called it a Russian “false flag”
One of Ukraine’s military or intelligence special units was “likely” behind the May 3 drone attack in Moscow, the New York Times reported on Wednesday citing anonymous US officials.
US intelligence agencies have assessed this based in part on intercepted communications of both Russian and Ukrainian officials, according to the Times. However, they “do not know which unit carried out the attack” and some officials believe President Vladimir Zelensky may not have been aware or involved. The US reportedly does not have “specific evidence” yet as to which operatives or agency was involved.

Jeffrey Sachs: The Ukraine War Was Provoked - & Why That Matters To Achieve Peace
George Orwell wrote in 1984 that “Who controls the past controls the future: who controls the present controls the past.” Governments work relentlessly to distort public perceptions of the past. Regarding the Ukraine War, the Biden administration has repeatedly and falsely claimed that the Ukraine War started with an unprovoked attack by Russia on Ukraine on Feb. 24, 2022.
In fact, the war was provoked by the U.S. in ways that leading U.S. diplomats anticipated for decades in the lead-up to the war, meaning that the war could have been avoided and should now be stopped through negotiations.

3 Arrested Russian Scientists Accused Of Handing Hypersonic Missile Secrets To China
A week ago, just as Ukraine was claiming to have shot down Russian hypersonic Kinzhal missiles, three top Russian scientists who've reportedly worked on the country's hypersonic program were arrested on suspicion of treason.
The Kremlin had said the three face "very serious accusations". They were identified as Anatoly Maslov, Alexander Shiplyuk and Valery Zvegintsev - and worked at the Khristianovich Institute of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics in the Siberian city of Novosibirsk. Shiplyuk was actually director of the institute, thus the highly visible case has sent shockwaves through the Russian ruling establishment and academic community.

Kissinger behind 3 million civilian deaths – The Intercept
The former US diplomat’s actions caused, among others, 150,000 Cambodian civilians to die, an outlet investigation has claimed
Henry Kissinger, the foreign policy eminence grise who has advised half a dozen US presidents, has caused the deaths of over 3 million people, according to an Intercept report published Tuesday to mark the realpolitik strategist’s 100th birthday.
While critics of the Nixon-era secretary of state and national security adviser often describe him as a war criminal for his pivotal role in numerous US-backed genocides and coups, the report argues Kissinger's body count has been widely underestimated, particularly regarding the secretive, highly illegal expansion of the Vietnam War into Cambodia in the 1970s
