Belarus delivers on nuke promise to Putin – Lukashenko
Moscow’s ally has modified its warplanes to deploy Russian weapons, the president claimed
Belarus has finished preparing some of its military aircraft for the possible deployment of Russian nuclear weapons, President Alexander Lukashenko revealed on Friday.
“You remember [Russian President Vladimir] Putin and I said we will modify Belarusian Su jets so that they could carry nuclear weapons. Did you think we were blabbing? It’s all done!” he said, as quoted by national news agency Belta. The remark came as he was discussing NATO’s military deployments near Belarus’ borders.

NATO is investigating the reported sale of its classified documents by a hacker group, the BBC reported on Thursday. Some of the data describes in detail the products of MBDA Missile Systems, a pan-European defense manufacturer.
“We are assessing claims relating to data allegedly stolen from MBDA. We have no indication that any NATO network has been compromised,” the British broadcaster quoted a spokesperson for the alliance as saying.
Missile strikes target US Army bases in eastern Syria
Four enemy fighters were killed and seven rocket launchers were destroyed in retaliatory US strikes, CENTCOM said on Thursday
US Army bases stationed near the Conoco gas field in the Deir al-Zor region of eastern Syria were targeted by mortar shells and missiles on Thursday, according to Syria's state-owned SANA news agency.
Explosions were heard inside the American base, local sources reportedly told SANA, which reported that the American military quickly moved to close the area surrounding the base.
No casualties were reported in the attack.
Netanyahu warns Fox News: Iran to hold every American city hostage

The White House reportedly refused an initial request from Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid to speak with U.S. President Joe Biden, saying he was on vacation, according to Israeli media reports.
The Americans say the talk is expected to take place in the coming days, Ynet reported.
The delayed call comes against the background of renewed momentum to revive the 2015 nuclear deal as the U.S. on Wednesday responded to Iran’s latest offer.

Two more fertilizer plants in Europe shut down due to high gas prices – no energy means no food
(Natural News) A pair of fertilizer production facilities in Poland have reportedly closed their doors, at least temporarily, because of the exorbitant cost of natural gas and other fuels.
Record-breaking prices for fuel all across Europe forced Grupa Azoty, the European Union’s second-largest fertilizer producer and the owner of one of the plants, to halt operations. The company issued the following statement on August 22:
“Due to record prices for natural gas, the main raw material for Grupa Azoty SA’s production, the company decided on August 22, 2022 to temporarily shut down its nitrogen fertilizer, caprolactam and polyamide 6 production plants from August 23, 2022.”

The effect on the non-financial economy will be to cause nominal GDP to slump because every transaction that makes up GDP is settled through credit — nearly all of it is bank credit. Contracting bank credit will simply drive GDP into the ground.
Moderna sues Pfizer/BioNTech for patent infringement over Covid vaccine
Moderna is suing Pfizer and its German partner BioNTech for patent infringement in the development of the first Covid-19 vaccine approved in the United States, alleging they copied technology that Moderna developed years before the pandemic.
The lawsuit, which seeks undetermined monetary damages, was being filed in U.S. District Court in Massachusetts and the Regional Court of Dusseldorf in Germany, Moderna said in a news release on Friday.

Pakistani Government Threatens to Block Digital IDs to Shut Down Access to Bank Accounts
Amid continued blackouts and great political unrest, the Pakistani government has threatened protesters with having their digital IDs blocked so they can’t access their bank accounts.
Interior minister Rana Sanaullah issued the threat as a warning to former PM Imran Khan (whose been encouraging protests across the country), his cabinet, and protesters after one federal minister was publicly heckled in a restaurant.
Khan has since been charged with “terrorism” after he accused Pakistani police and the judiciary of detaining and torturing one of his aids. The charge has, predictably, not gone over well for the current administration and has only revitalized protests.

Congress quietly says UFO threat ‘expanding,’ not all are ‘man-made’
In July, Congress quietly admitted that Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) are not “man-made” and that the threat is “expanding,” burying the startling revelations in a report added to the Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2023. The finding was first reported by Vice on Tuesday.

Unusual diseases are killing animals in large numbers all over America
