US senators from both major parties have introduced legislation seeking to designate Russia as a ‘state sponsor of terrorism’, as well as imposing additional economic sanctions. The lawmakers noted that the bill came at the request of Ukrainian officials.
Republican Senator Lindsey Graham and Democrat Richard Blumenthal announced the bipartisan ‘Russia is a State Sponsor of Terrorism Act’ bill on Wednesday, accusing Moscow of grave “atrocities,” “war crimes,” and even “genocide” in Ukraine.

Swedish appliance maker Electrolux AB announced a cost reduction program after reporting a plunge in demand for its home appliances across Europe and the US.
The world's second-largest home appliances manufacturer after Whirlpool said, "market demand for core appliances in Europe and the US so far in the third quarter is estimated to have decreased at a significantly accelerated pace compared with the second quarter, driven by the impact of high inflation on consumer durables purchases and low consumer confidence."

Its announcement on Wednesday effectively cancels all planned trips, including those from Washington DC to Sanford, Florida, and the Silver Star from New York City to Miami. The only area that will not be affected by the train cancelations are those in the Northeast Corridor, between Boston and Washington DC.

Windsor, Ont. health unit suspends 1,500 high school students over outdated immunization records
The public health unit in Windsor, Ont., says it has suspended more than 1,500 secondary school students due to out-of-date immunization records.
The Windsor-Essex Health Unit says it is holding clinics throughout the week for routine immunizations and students can return to school once their records have been updated.
The students or their guardians can submit updated records in person at the health unit's offices, or have their primary health care providers fax them.

Denmark ends COVID jab for people under 50
Denmark has ended the COVID-19 vaccine for most people under 50, the Danish Health Authority said yesterday.
Denmark already discontinued COVID-19 shots for nearly everyone under 18.
According to health officials, the purpose of vaccines is to prevent severe illness, hospitalization and death.
“Therefore, people at the highest risk of of becoming severely ill will be offered booster vaccination,” the Danish Health Authority says.
“The purpose of vaccination is not to prevent infection with covid-19, and people under 50 are therefore currently not being offered booster vaccination.”

$1.3 Billion in COVID Relief Funds Ended Up Overseas, Says Inspector General
The Small Business Administration awarded up to $1.3 billion in pandemic relief to unqualified foreign applicants that may have included international criminal organizations, according to a report from the agency's inspector general.
The report, released Monday, found the SBA approved and distributed 41,638 loans and grants to foreign applicants between March 20, 2020, and Nov. 12, 2021, through the Economic Injury Disaster Loan program. Congress directed the SBA to provide these grants to businesses located in the United States that were impacted by the pandemic, but the agency acknowledged it failed to provide proper oversight of awards issued to foreign entities. The report found the SBA approved 3,097 grants for applicants in six unspecified "high-risk" countries, distributing $14.3 million to the recipients.

This week a Labour MP, Rupa Huq, has introduced an amendment to legislation that would proposes a 2 year jail sentence for anyone praying with women before they go into an abortion centre. Rupa Huq is one of the most vocal supporters of abortion in the House of Commons. Her ammendment seeks to enforce a “buffer zone” outside abortion centers.

Danny DeVito's Animated Series Little Demon Labeled as 'Evil' by U.S. Congressman
The animated series Little Demon has drawn some ire from a U.S. Congressman who's now warning families against having children exposed to the show. Debuting on FXX in August, Little Demon features Danny DeVito as the voice of Satan with his daughter Lucy DeVito co-starring as the voice of his teenage daughter, Chrissy. Aubrey Plaza is also featured as Chrissy's mother who tries to help her daughter live as much of a normal life as possible, despite being the Antichrist.
On his official Facebook page, U.S. Congressman Mike Johnson posted a complaint about the series that has since gone viral. In the post, Johnson said that the "most disturbing part" of the LSU game he watched was an ad for Little Demon that aired during a commercial break. Johnson went on to condemn recent reviews praising the series and cautioned other parents about the show's existence, lest they have their own children introduced to the "clearly evil" series.
When you look at and listen to some of these people explaining to us what our new normal is going to be, it is truly frightening. They are so full of themselves and the power which they assume that they have over us. Their opinion or plans mean nothing to those with faith in a higher power.
