Justin Trudeau Wants Freedoms for Ukrainians That He Won’t Allow Canadians to Enjoy
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau made a surprise visit to Kiev this week. Given that the threat level in the city has been reduced to the point where U2’s Bono can now play an impromptu concert, the real surprise is that Trudeau was photographed without his face mask, which has been nearly omnipresent when he’s on Canadian soil.
Trudeau’s mask-wearing serves mainly as propaganda in an ongoing attempt to justify his vaccine mandates to Canadians. Required for citizens to board an airplane or train within their own country, the mandates effectively keep many stuck at home and unable to travel, but also can prevent them from working, as being fully jabbed is a condition of employment in some cases.
Finland officially decides to join NATO
The Nordic country's bid to join the US-led military bloc now needs approval from parliament
Finland has officially announced its intention of joining the NATO military alliance. During a cabinet meeting on Sunday, President Sauli Niinistö and ministers “agreed that Finland would apply for membership in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO),” a government statement read.
Finnish accession to the US-led bloc would require the unanimous approval of the existing 30 member states, including Turkey, which has suggested it could veto the move. A report on Finland’s planned membership will be submitted to the national parliament once it’s endorsed at a government plenary session, the statement went on to say.

Pentagon said that Russia’s warnings against Sweden and Finland’s alliance membership bids are “concerning”
The United States is prepared, if needed, to provide Sweden and Finland with military support as these countries await NATO’s response to their membership applications, Pentagon spokesman John Kirby has said.
On Sunday both Finland and Sweden formally announced their intention to join NATO, despite multiple warnings from Russia. Moscow, which considers NATO expansion as a direct threat to its own security, has previously pledged to take adequate measures in response.
The U.S. is expanding its goals in Ukraine. That’s dangerous.
Comments by political and military leaders suggest the goal is no longer to drive Russia to the negotiating table but to seek a total defeat of Russian forces. That increases the odds of catastrophe.
Ukraine has surprised the world with its ability to hold back Russian aggression. Yet its success in doing so appears to be prompting Western leaders to expand their goals for the war in ways that may carry extraordinary, underappreciated risk. The earlier hope was that a robust Ukrainian defense would ensure the country’s right to exist as a sovereign and independent state while minimizing the loss of territory in the south and east. But now, many political and military leaders are laying out much loftier goals, backed by an unprecedented infusion of military aid.

After posting an earnings miss, the next shoe to drop was the discovery in the latest version of the Coinbase Terms of Service, the addition of text that included the following:
“Custodially held crypto assets may be considered to be the property of a bankruptcy estate, in the event of a bankruptcy, the crypto assets we hold in custody on behalf of our customers could be subject to bankruptcy proceedings and such customers could be treated as our general unsecured creditors”
This verbiage became a big deal with every corporate media outlet dumping all over it. It trended on Twitter and quickly went viral, almost as if this was some sort of revelation.
1 Dead, 5 Injured In Shooting At Southern California Church
Multiple people have been shot and at least one person has died at a church in Laguna Woods, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department (OCSD).
One deceased victim, four critically wounded victims, and another with minor injuries were found. All victims are adults and have been sent to an area hospital.
Police said they detained a suspect quickly at the scene and recovered a weapon that was believed to have been used in the shooting.

Aryeh King, the Deputy Mayor of Jerusalem turned to Zeev Elkin, the Minister of Jerusalem Affairs and Minister of Housing and Construction, and requested that he consult with Moshe Lion, the Mayor of Jerusalem to discuss the option of cutting off all contact with Israel’s government. King claims the government is destroying the city of Jerusalem, endangering the residents of the city, and working to abolish the sovereignty and governance of Jerusalem.
If accepted the decision would, of course, need to be raised before Prime Minister Naftali Bennett and Moshe Lion, the mayor of Jerusalem.
